Making Easter Bonnets at work made me very happy. I’m sorry I can’t show the rest, they were very beautiful and so appreciated, we laughed so much.

I am linking to this challenge this week. It looks like a great way to practice my photography skills, all the participants pictures look wonderful, something to aim for! and I like the idea of something specific to photograph. It will help keep my mojo intact for project 365.

Isolation
This is for “Outside”

I love how their outside shoes are nestling close to each other!
I saw this hippo and her baby at the shopping centre this week, It made me laugh, I was thinking of all the times I have been to Cribbs Causeway, Bristol and never spotted her! I couldn’t resist using this for my first week linking here.
I had to go to the file for this one… It is one of my favourite pictures. I was taking a photography course to get me to take the camera off auto.
This is for Isolation
I took a walk in the park yesterday and noticed this tulip all by herself in a bed of much smaller tulips that were not yet in flower. I think she is Queen of the Night. She was herself isolated but with my short depth of field I hope it is the sort of thing you were thinking of for isolation?
This is for “Time”
I saw this beautiful clock which is made of paper.
Then as I was rushing to work I saw this clock which is “made of dandelion”
If I had enough time in the mornings I wouldn’t go out and get as far as the car before I noticed I had odd socks on!
I have loved looking for the prompts this week and hope my pictures fulfil the challenge!
listening:to the sound of mowers! It is Saturday just before 10.00am bright and dry.
eating: nothing, waiting for breakfast.
drinking: a mug of tea.
wearing: a bright orange towel! I had to start this before I forgot.
feeling: happy, I had a lovely surprise last evening. Paul bought me a new lens for my camera.
weather: a real mix over the last couple of weeks. Last weekend was hot enough to sit out in the evening. Today it is overcast but warm.
wanting: to get out and play with the new lens.
thinking: about a new on line blogging class I have signed up for.
enjoying: visiting some new photography blogs.
wondering: will there ever be enough time in my day.
The last four weeks
what do we think?
at home: It’s been a better month than last. Paul has settled into the madness that is the new contract. Ben has been through a tough episode at work but we came through it intact. The rest of the family are doing great.
Ben went to stay with Lotta in Helsinki for a week and then she came here for a week. I love having her in the house. It is so nice to have tiny shoes
and girly things about the place.
at work: Just snowed under with it again. There are times when I wonder how much longer I can do the job. We made Easter Bonnets this week at the memory café, they were a great success and made up for recent tough days.
been anywhere nice this month? We went to see Chas & Dave in Cheltenham. We had such fun: it was a great concert, with people on their feet singing and dancing and having a great time.
It was the bands farewell tour, after touring for 30years!
plans? Paul & I are going to see Kate Rusby this month and we have an office night out to see ABBA Forever
favourite photo?

Skywatch Friday, Season 4, Episode 40.
These are my pictures for Skywatch this week, there are beautiful skies from all over the world here, take a look if you have a moment.

This ornamental cherry is in my garden and this is the second flush of blossoms I have had this year. It is so graceful and lovely against the blue sky earlier this week.

I am looking for natural frames at the moment and this one had the sky in it!

It has taken a long time to rebuild a derelict swimming pool and cafe and turn it into apartments, a bistro, a cafe and a lovely area to walk around. It is an island, the apartments are exclusive, very expensive and apparently wonderful and but you wouldn’t catch me living there especially in the winter, we have such high tides here. I would be terrified.
What do you think about living in such a place?
I am going to try to link up with Project 64, although I am too late this week, week 14’s colour is burnt sienna.

This is my brothers new fire surround, isn’t it beautiful? and the colour of burnt sienna I think.

Another burnt sienna find at my brother’s.
I’ll use the wind chime photo in my project 365, it is so pretty and makes a lovely sound when I open the window that it hangs in. It also reminds me of a lovely holiday in Scotland with friends.
