Week 28

Ben and I went to Dryham Park near Bath last week for a sunset deer walk only there was no sunset. The deer were magnificent though.
Dyrham Park’s name originates from Doerham, the Saxon word for deer. They have a managed herd of 200+ fallow deer who roam free within 270 acres. Most of which my hips and back told me I walked around!
It was wonderful to see the does with their fawns completely at ease in front of some amazing lenses!

I have called his weeks set of pictures for Helena’s meme:The Holly and the Ivy which I couldn’t stop humming, much to Ben’s annoyance as he couldn’t fathom why! It is a bit tenuous I know, but you can’t always order your humming. I didn’t see a sunrise or hear a merry organ either!

Also I have completely broken the rules of ‘up to four pictures’

Week 27

This weeks set of pictures for Helelna’s meme were taken at the Butterfly House we visited a couple of weekends ago.
In the past I have been unable to cope with going into the House, being terrified of anything with wings comming near me. But as I really wanted to take some new pictures off we went!
Apart from a minor panic when they all came to greet me at the door (said my husband) attack me I thought! I was fine and with a bit of deep breathing I got through.

Here are four pictures for you: Butterflies, Same, but Different

Thank you Helena.
