Cute story. I think of the quote about not reinventing the wheel. I have my Mother’s old cookbook & I refer to it often. I also have a muffin recipe from high school that I still use at least once a month – the olden golden recipes, still the yummiest. Thanks Ben for converting.
Now I have a few cook books like than . My well used pages have old samples of ingredients on them too!
This is great, Miriam! 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend.
I love the stories that writing in old recipe books tell – funnily the only books that I do happily write in
When I looked at this last night I was on my phone and couldn’t see the detail of what the recipe was. Now I can see it I can tell you that I have got almost identical calculations by my pancake mix recipe ( your book is obviously more sophisticated calling them crepes!). This year I had a spot of trouble trying to calculate enough for the 2 dozen pancakes I was required to take to the church pancake lunch!
Some of the old ones are some of the best ones!
Funny: pancakes are the one thing every year that make me bring out my now nearly 30 year old recipe book
I would have changed it too! xx
I love the old recipes!!
Love the old recipe book. I think the idea of a 6 word story is fab. I used to do one previously and wondered if I would be welcome to take part. X
