Week 20
Stalking the blackbirds Zooming in and out in the garden at the blackbirds again.
She is on the nest
He is feeding her
He has three or four stopping places before he goes into the nest. He starts on the the tall fence which is fairly open, he can see the nest and the garden. Sometimes he flits along a little closer to the shrubs that afford him some cover, more waiting, more looking. He can’t see the nest from here but he is nearer to the shrubs. He can hear the click of my shutter though! Then onto the low fence which is much closer to the shrubs. It is also right next to the water bath but he can’t visit that this time. From here over to the arch, his last look out post from where he can see the nest. More waiting and waiting, checking and checking and keeping his eye on me!
Then when I blink my eyes he has taken the short flight up into the ivy to his lady. I miss that bit!
What a great system! Isn’t nature wonderful?
Thank you Helena.
Bella is hosting her 4th year of Project 52 Bella always has some interesting prompts.

My frame is from the Coffee Shop Blog
This lovely meme is hosted by Abi at Creating Paper Dreams.
When her petals fade and stamens wilt the peony leaves her greenish yellow carpels and fluorescent pink stigmas to admire.
