June 2013.
I have been recording my month in numbers for 12 months now. I didn’t think it would be for me but it is so easy and such fun. 12 months, 12 pictures and many many numbers later I have a lovely (and sometimes amusing) book of bits and pieces of the last 12 months.
Thanks so much Julie Kirk at Notes on Paper! You are a star.
I will continue of course but may change the format. I have 4 weeks to think of something…
The picture is a sand sculpture of Pi and Richard Parker from the film Life of Pi. Have you seen it? I absolutely loved it.

Only found it on Saturday having looked all month!
Re: The coke bottles. I haven’t found a Paul yet and there is no point looking for a Lotta or a Miriam….
Have you been amused to find one with certain name on?
I have a post about the Sand Sculptures to show you later in the week.
looks a good month and love the sand sculpture. I never bother to look for names as I know mine won’t be there and the rest of my family have equally unusual names
I love sand sculptures!
I just spotted on the tv ad last night that there might be a “Sian” bottle available..daftly excited by this!
Happy Month-in-Numbers birthdayversary to you! It’s been an absolute pleasure having your company – and your creative presentation – for the last 12 months! It’s funny how quite a few people have said at first they weren’t really number people … then thoroughly enjoyed it using it as a way to record their days. Maybe I need to make it my slogan ‘Join in My Month in Numbers: at first you might not like it … but give it time!’ 😉
The sand sculpture looks amazing – I’ll look forward to seeing more.
I’ve added you to the board now Miriam: http://pinterest.com/notesonpaper/my-month-in-numbers/
Happy July!
Julie 🙂
p.s: The questions for the 1st ‘Communal Count’ are up on my blog today if you want to join in with that this month.
Hi Miriam,
I’ve just popped over from Pinterest to check out your MinN and love your blog. Your photos are stunning and I love the simplicity of your numbers list.
I’ll be popping back to see how you change the format.

I must be totally out of it, because I didn’t even know to look at a Coke bottle for a name. Of course, we rarely have a Coke bottle in the house so that will make it difficult. I’m always impressed by these posts, since each time I see one, I think it would be such a good idea, but never seem to manage it.
I love reading your Month in Numbers! What a fun project. Looking forward to seeing more of the sand sculptures, too.
I didn’t know about the Coke bottles with name (I had to google it!), but it sounds fun.Too bad they don’t have a “Miriam”. Or a “Jill”, for that matter!
Oh what a fun list (and photo). I just started playing my month in numbers in June and I can see what fun it would be to have 12 months of collected data and memories. Happy to have found your blog!
Fab numbers and I love how you display them on the photograph – that sand sculpture is amazing, so detailed
