Month in Numbers

This is such a great way to record a few things from the month, and a brilliant idea of the talented Julie Kirk over here

MiN May 13

31 pictures taken for CY365
1 weekend away, here in this beautiful cottage
3 nights in kennels for Pepsi
4 meals out
I craft evening at home
2 eyes tested
1 new pair of glasses ordered
400 pounds! I am assured that they will be the answer to all sight issues. They better be or I’m on the streets…
2 trips to the vets with Pepsi, all well
6 days Lotta visiting, I think I will re-name them ‘Lotta Days’
6 postcards received with the Liberate Your Art Postcard Swap
1 small parcel posted containing a very small thing for Sian’s Great Big Swap
1 lovely parcel received with the same swap
4 Ragamuffin animals completed with Carla Sonheim’s class
1 fabric journal finished, another of Carla’s classes
3 dates with my camera (1 with my macro lens and table top tripod)
1 new project started: I am currently drying out about 30 used tea bags! Causing much hilarity among family and visitors
and intrigue for you?

Do you see that hexagonal window towards the centre of the picture? It is blue with a blue vase in it and just so very pretty…

Blue window

I couldn’t decide which photo to use for my MiN and went with chocolate box cottage because it really was just that… A chocolate box picture of an english thatched cottage…

But, I really love the blue window

  1. what a lovely month – I love both images but am mesmerised by the window – the shape and colour is fabulous

  2. Ooh, now that is a hard question … Marginally the top one, I think, but by a whisker! The great thing about expensive glasses is that it becomes a benchmark against which all other things are measured. When Himself’s glasses were almost £300 a few years ago, it gave my dear daughter and me so much licence -“Well, (x) was only … – a lot less than your glasses, Dad”. The following year he bought them on the Internet for a fraction of the price!

  3. Hey Miriam,
I’ve been travelling and just not catching up on your last 7 posts!!!
So much fun to see – the up/down; the swap; the 52 photos and this wonderful layered photo. Looking forward to your scavenger hunting with me this summer,
    Rinda

  4. That window is beautiful and so is the cottage – love how you have displayed your numbers. Looks like you have had a fun month and I would love to know what the tea bags are for.

  5. The drying of the tea bags definitely peaked my interest! I really like the photo of the cottage but the window is so unique I can see why you had trouble choosing!
