Bonnie at Pixel Dust Photo Art gave us a beautiful texture called Bamboo Dream this week.
Her optional challenge was to create a piece of art to hang in the gallery using the new texture.
I love textures with text on so I had a lot of fun with some flower pictures this week.
I saw this beautiful small green bronze figure of a dancing girl in a boutique recently. I have used her for one of my project 365 prompts. (she was very obliging!) she was standing against a red brick wall and I just love how it tuned Bamboo Dream pink when I played with blending modes!
I would like to hang the first picture in the gallery this week and maybe turn the rest into postcards?
It is the most beautiful morning here, pale blue skies, light fluffy clouds and wonderful sun shine. I hope it is good for you. Have a nice weekend.
yes it looks like you had fun and creted some fabulous images. I love the ballerina and the first and last flower best. They would all make great postcards
These all would make fabulous postcards. They’d make great cards for birthdays, get well, thinking of you . . . I, too, think the first one is especially beautiful.
Your dancing girl has cast a spell over all these images which are so delicately edited. Lovely to see gold again and the daffodil/narcissi quote was perfect
Your flower pictures are so awesome. Especially at this cold, grey time of year. Reminds me that spring is just around the corner!
I too like the “mystery” of the first, but all are lovely
These are so beautiful! Excellent work!
oh Miriam, so lovely, each and all. I don’t usually pick favourites [NOT BEcause I am NOT discriminating NOR BEcause I am a hopeless lover of all that is creative] yet this time I am going to say I have one I love MORE than I love the others and it’s the 4th one down. there is something about it that captivated me and a whole story of little BEings living inside the flowers started telling itself to me.
you’ve set a table of wonder, my friend!! MWAH!!!
Just beautiful edits with the texture, my favorite being the geranium!!
I think that sounds like a perfect plan!
These are all beautiful pieces of art.
Wow you did a fantastic job with this texture. Each one is so lovely. The daffodils are just delightful and remind me that spring is just around the corner.
Wow! So many lovely creations, Miriam! I was intrigued by them all, but think the first and second last are my favourites.
I LOVE the daffodil pic!…..and the quote

Great processing! My favourites are both very different – the fourth down and the last.I especially like the depth of the fourth and the abstraction of the last.
These are all lovely but that top one is my favourite – reminds me of a faint sun peering out behind a curtain of snowflakes. Your experimenting is always so interesting …
Gorgeous. It really makes me want to review how to work with photoshop.

Miriam, these are beautiful!
I especially love the third one. Such a great composition.
Happy day to you!
Belated comment- but so glad I stopped by. You found many homes for Bonnie’s texture Magical.
