Bonnie has opened the doors of our virtual gallery. Her optional theme for this week is “hardware”.
I wanted to combine a couple of photo’s, something I find challenging but my word for this year is ‘Learn’ so practice I must.
Two photos of farm machinery placed onto one of Bonnies backgrounds. I reduced the opacity of each photo until I could see each piece individually when I concentrated. I’m not sure how it will work for you because I know the photo’s so well. I am pleased with it though.
This is the frame of one of Ben’s motorbikes hanging on the garage wall taken with my phone but I flattened the image before taking any notes of how I did it…sorry
I love your artful pictures especially the bikes amazing colours… visiting from PhotoArt Friday…
I like the dreamy quality of that first one. It’s wistful, almost.
yummy!! what a great “measure” for it by seeing what YOU can see. this is wonderful, Miriam, and you remind me that my word, Enough, is quite happily “running the show” as well. when I had BIG plans and little energy I let what I had BE enough!!
these are both gorgeous images, even if I didn’t know what they were/are.
Not only does it work very well, but it is just wonderful, Miriam.
A really beautiful edit.
Wishing you a great weekend, my friend!
xo.
Both pieces are really well done. I loved the abstract feel of the bicycle piece. The 1st piece has an “artsy” feel to it with the collage technique you used. I find that hard to put together myself but I think you’ve done a wonderful job with it.
I like them both Miriam, but love the impact of the second!
I like how you took something so “brutal” “masculine” like farm hardware and made it soft and gentle – and definitely interesting. Beautiful!
And I am always flattening layers and forgetting what I did too!
i forgot to add – I like your second pic too- very dynamic and love the colour!
Very artistic! That second image could happily grace a wall or a piece of fabric too :).
Wow…those are amazing. I love the texture you used and the editing. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for your kinds words.
