It seems a long time since I joined in with Bonnies meme and it seemed a long break over the Christmas holiday and now it’s today!
Bonnies optional Challenge is to link up a piece of photo art that features a word you have chosen to guide or inspire you for the year 2013.
My word is Learn as in…
Learn and grow
Learn to accept who I am
Learn to grow into my new role
Learn to value retirement
Learn to accept a reduced income
Learn to accept that a financial contribution isnβt the only contribution I will make to our lives
Learn to look after myself
Learn to have patience with my self
Learn to love myself
Learn to grow in confidence
Learn a new skill
For the first week in 2013 there will be art and words to inspire us at Pixel Dust Photo Art.
Two posts in one day again? Bonnie has opened her gallery a few hours earlier which means I can link before midnight today π
What a wonderful word rich in possibilities! I love that apple photo too. Looking forward to seeing all these things develop as the year progresses . . .
Beautiful colors and composition – nicely done. Learning is a life long process since every day brings something new.
To learn (and recognize the need to do so) is one of the gifts of being a human. How sad that some people choose not to….they miss so much.
I truly love your piece for this challenge.
all the best for the new year
Your desire to learn demonstrates a real openness. LOVE your art, Miriam – great editing!
I wish I had moved the time up a long time ago for those of you across the ‘pond’!
I like you list and could use myself. I hope you accomplish all your goals this year.
What a great choice, and a wonderful list. I love the 3-D look of “Learn” in the right corner of the photo. How did you do that? π
Great word Miriam. So many of us are life long learners, but it takes a lot of courage to delve deeper into learning more about ourselves. Have a fabulous year!
What neat processing on your word! Love your composition, Miriam.
I love you word; especially the list of things you hope to learn.

Love your words! Love your photowork!
That’s a great concept that I could benefit from too!
Happy new year!
Exquisite composition, beautiful colors and textures.
Your piece is perfection! I love how you used the books, apple, combined with the word, Learn. It really blended together perfectly. Learn is a wonderful word and your list is admirable. I especially liked the one about how you don’t have to contribute financially to make a difference.
this is beautiful. the word, the post and the picture!!!
I love your word…and the way in which you intend to use it!

Hi Miriam … Love your word and photo i see you are from the West Country so am I, in Somerset small world…
It is a favourite word of mine for sure. I even painted it on my wall when I moved into the Wee Cottage in 2009.
EnJOY the Journey. I know you will.

As I have been visiting, I’ve been seeing everyone’s choices for words for the new year, and this is by far, my favorite. I did not choose a word, but if I had, this would most certainly be it. So very, very full of possibilities!
Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.
xo.
