I usually miss these significant days but I am fortunate enough to have the day off work today. I plan on spending my day here, catching up and writing cards, all things crossed.
I would like to share days one to twelve of my Advent project. I was inspired by Rinda to make my pages in the shape of a pennant, or bunting as my son said!
I’ll only show you a couple of the picture pages so as not to bore the pants off you. When I didn’t have a card large enough to be a complete pennant I made a collage. I will punch holes at the top of the journalling page and bind it on two rings. So far I have followed Shimelles JYC prompts but who knows where the days of December will take me.
Happy 12.12.12.
All the elements on my pages are Katie Pertiet’s
I love it – fantastically festive format
Hi Miriam, I do hope you are well? Funny, I was thinking about you today with the intention to ‘pop by’…so glad I did, these festive banners are wonderful, my advice…at least 2 more packs of the shortbread 😉
Miriam, these are simply wonderful. So original, and I enjoyed reading each, and every one!
I wish you and your family a most beautiful Holiday season.
xo.
What an amazing piece of work! There are so many stories in here … And I found myself startled when you said about stopping work – gosh! Hoping you will have a richly fulfilling time :). And how lovely of you to host the carers’ evenings. As a carer myself, I can really appreciate what that must have meant to them… I could respond to something in every pennant! You’ve made a beautiful thing here.
I love that you did them pendant shapes – thanks for the shout out!!!
