Week 44
While I was away in Cornwall last week I couldn’t help but notice the wonderful displays of Hydrangeas. In the end I went looking for them for Helena’s Snap! Here are just four of the fabulous colours I saw.
Thank you Helena

fabulous colours – interesting to see some still in full bloom – they all seem to be in their decaying colours around here – I’ve fixed the linky now – thanks for alerting me – purely human error!!
This might be my very favorite flower. They were everywhere in Nantucket, and I have multiple plants in my garden, none of which has bloomed much in the last several years. We just added several more to the front landscaping as well as a hydrangea tree. There’s more light there, so I’m hopeful. I think the blue is my favorite, but that third one is absolutely gorgeous, too.
Oh such lovely colours. I’m growing fonder of Hydrangeas. TownMonkey was off for half term in the Azores where they grow as weeds and are quite disparaged. Around here they are in so many front gardens.
I love hydrangeas!! Especially the blue…
Such a pretty SNAP collection. I think the blue is the classic & I think of Easter for hydrangeas.
I have a friend who really scorns all hydrangeas. I find this hard to understand because it is such a diverse bloom. Anyway I like them because they remind me so much of my Grandma and her garden which with my recent loss is all the more poignant.
How pretty.
