Week 4
With Helena’s lovely new meme Snap! on my mind I was looking for signs of spring while on the dog walk. It’s still January! What will happen when the weather changes?

Week 4

wow so many early plants
Isn’t it odd to see so many flowers out? I’ve been intrigued during my travels which areas have daffodils in full bloom while others still are at the swelling bud phase.
what a lovely & enjoyable spring walk – no wait, it’s still winter – change that to oh my what a surprising walk.
Oh my, it does seem early for spring. It’s snowing lightly now as I type this, and although it’s definitely been a milder winter thus far, sights like these are weeks away!
unbelievable that the flowers are up already!! Also that you have NO snow…
I won’t see anything like that around here until April, so I’m dumbfounded that you can have daffodils blooming in January. Of course, I’m saying that with 30″ of snow sitting outside my door…
And it looks like you found some, Miriam!!
We are far, far away from away from any signs of spring quite yet. 🙁
The curious thing with the daffodils is the way in the same place some are blooming and others are far behind. Lovely photos.
It’s such a worry – however the daffs in my neighbour’s garden are blooming on despite last week’s snow!
Spring is very much my favourite season…and it’s come early here too! xx
Oh, flowers in January! Lucky you.
Oh my, you’ve got me wondering what our place will look like when we get home.
