On Sunday
Adrienne’s word for Friday 14th October was CROSS
Thanks to Maureen at Josephina Ballerina for the idea.
Why? because I have never been able to master it, so I suppose I’m cross with me, not the cross stitch. Is there a craft you’ve not been able to master?
The theme for Capture Your 365 in November is Giving Thanks
November 15th
This may be controversial, but for me, it works.

Hi Miriam, I have never tried cross-stitch but recently I’ve been gifted a small starter kit which I may have a go at soon, I may or may not blog about my progress, depending on whether or not I enjoy it. I had my flu jab too recently, my lovely GM refuses to have one, as he swears that the first one he had gave him a seriously bad cold. Love the blue sky, I think I saw it earlier this week too.

I thought for years that I wouldn’t be able to master crochet. But this year I have and I’m delighted. It’s my new addiction..
I had my flu jab for the first time this year too
fabulous blue sky – my biggest craft fail is polymer clay – I drooled over others’ creations in magazines but could not get anywhere near the results – so I gave all my equipment and clay to a friends who had much better results
Okay, Miriam, I have to ask:
1) Is that something you Were working on or you Are working on? Or does it belong to someone else entirely? I found the following of a CS pattern tedious. That’s why I like to quilt. I make up the pattern as I go. I like to make fairly large quilts with no two blocks intentionally the same.
2) Is that thankful thing an iPhone app?
3) Where did you get an octopus? 😉
Happy Sunday! m & jb
I haven’t done cross-stitch for a long time, but used to enjoy it. Come to think of it, I haven’t done any stitching for a long time!
Flu shot is on my to-do list for next week. Blue sky would be nice, too, but we’ve got snow and wind instead.
I’ve had a flu shot every year for many, many years, and wouldn’t go without it. Also like you, I never had much luck with cross stitch, which I never understood because it looked easy!
