I have been very un-inspired to keep up with this challenge which Jill and Marsha are doing great with. But for some reason, this weekend has seen a change, and I have completed a couple of Labs and made a start on some missed ones.
Lab 18 Reflections
Reflections are one of my favourite things to photograph. I love the abstract quality of trees reflected in water and this pair are the same picture but I turned one of the pictures 180 deg.
Lab 26 Bugs
I don’t really like bugs but except for moths I can tolerate them and take pictures of them. I have made a collage of some bugs I’ve seen over the last couple of months. Nothing recent as we have had rain everyday for a couple of weeks. In a picture, close up, some of them are very beautiful, but if they come near me when I’m looking at them… I’m off…
I love the pairing of the reflection photo; great idea!
Feel exact same way about most bugs. Especially stick bugs, praying mantis, and, most especially, wheel bugs which are poisonous. But really, anything that startles me sends me running off screaming.
Really beautiful photos! Well done đŸ˜€
You did such a great job on these, Miriam.
I especially love the first one. So wonderfully unique.
It has been a challenge keeping up with this challenge, hasn’t it?! I faded out for a while, but I think I’m back into it now. Except for the upcoming self-portrait Lab. Ugh.
The reflection photographs are beautiful – they’d look good hanging on your wall! And I love the insect collage. The dragonfly wing and the spider web are lovely. But I’m like you – not a big fan of bugs.
The reflections are beautiful. Very painterly.
lovely reflections… and quite alot of bug photos for someone who doesn’t like bugs! I don’t think I would get as close to some of those bugs as you did! I like the green fly.
My enthusiasm waned for awhile with the labs too…but I got back on track with my selfie this week.
Great shots, all of them. Especially the spider’s web and the butterfly/moth? wing.
Cheers~
