Zoom In Zoom Out week thirteen
This week I have been zooming in and out at the fishing lake at the end of the garden of the house we stayed in a couple of weekends ago. I was out in the garden at about 8:30am on the Sunday morning, not a soul about, quiet except for the birdsong. I saw the Canada geese through my telephoto lens and watched them gracefully glide towards me across this beautiful lake. I imagine that the people who live along the edge of the lake feed them. I was thinking the scene would make a nice ZIZO so I have put a few pictures into a slide show for you this week.
You should have heard the noise they made when they realised I had nothing for them!

Great shots. What a lovely place to live.
a beautiful lake and I can just imagine the gloriousness of a quiet early morning and the arrival of the geese
It is a shame that we train them to rely on handouts, but it is the same here!
What a beautiful creature, Miriam!
Lovely photos!
It looks beautiful
Snap, indeed! How odd that we both posted photos of geese this week. (Of course, they do say great minds think alike ….) Such a difference in the scenery, though – snow and ice for me; beautiful open water for you. Great ZIZO shots!
Just stunning Miriam. The blue of the water is beautiful.
Glorious colours in these – that shade of blue is just lovely. I like your little montage too – very nicely done.
What a beautiful spot! The Canadian geese here cause so many problems I forget how beautiful they can be.
Beautiful shots….it looks like the geese are heading directly towards you!
That slide show is really cool, and I’m crazy about the reflections in the water.

What beautiful shots 🙂
It looks lovely Miriam and the colours are really nice. I was wishing I had my camera with me the other day when we were out – we saw literally hundreds of them in the sky. BTW, around here they are thought of more of a pest as there as so many of them. There are signs up throughout the area telling people to please not feed them.
