Week Seven
Linking with Helena’s wonderful meme. Zoom In Zoom Out
This week I am zooming about at the small beach in town. It is called Maderia Cove or The Family Beach. In the summer you can’t put a pin down here as it is full of families, safe because the the cove is filled by sea water but doesn’t empty with the tide.
It was a lovely walk along here although as the tide had only just gone out the walkway had a lot of water on it. We were walking towards the buildings, the cove is full on our left but the tide is out on our right hand side.
Oh, what a beautiful place! I love your ZIZO shots, but I can’t stop looking at that last shot. I would love to stroll along there.
an intriguing place with sea water defying the tide
That is so cool! So if you happen to be at the buildings when the tide comes in, does that mean you are stranded until it goes back out?
I don’t know which I like more – your lovely zizo or your great new header slideshow :).
Great snaps.
these photos make me want to live by the sea!!
Every time you post a sea photo, my wish to live near the water increases. Somehow Lake Ontario just doesn’t cut it! Lovely photos all, but the second pair is so atmospheric.
What a fabulous walkway – and an intriguing construction with the tidal effect on one side.
Oh I like this series – felt as if I was getting to walk along too. I do miss walking by the sea, joining in with Karen – somehow the Thames just doesn’t cut it.
