…On Saturday
Adrianne’s word for this week is Bend.
Isn’t it strange how the brain works?, When I read the prompt I immediately saw a set of photos of a steam train and saw, in my mind the train pulling out of the station immediately into a curve or bend. It took me the rest of the morning to find them! they were languishing in August 2011! I have since started on a much better filing system.
Anyway this appealed to me, probably only me! but it might make you smile.
Photograph what makes you happy. It may not have value to anyone else, but it will have value to you”

Well, isn’t this just brilliant! The shots are great – especially love the steam shot! And the hint of the bend in the tracks is just perfect for the shot. I love taking the train….when we lived in France we traveled that way often. This is so creative! Thanks for linking up!
Oh, cool train shots! I like the way you ended up thinking of these
great shots, so atmospheric, and I love the quote at the end – so true
How brilliant, I love Gloucester. I have traveled there by train. Alas not by steam.
I worked very hard to capture a photo of the train going around a bend when we were traveling by train in Alaska. That never occurred to me when I saw the prompt! The set of three photos are wonderful!
Oh, that’s perfect! What a clever interpretation of the theme.
Very neat! That steam one is especially glorious. Well done on sharpening up your filing system. I just do not want to use iPhoto but have not come up with anything else yet, so they languish in folders by month and year.
I like a ride on a steam train, and I love it when the bend in the track means you can see the engine. Great photos.
