Scavenger Hunt Sunday June 26th

Sunday again! Where is the time going? Time for another Scavenger Hunt. This week we are looking for:

Windows/Doors
Eyelashes
Paint
Leaf Veins
Faceless Portrait

Here are my interpretations for this one.

Windows/Doors
I love my little pink bird house.

Eyelashes
A stolen shot of my sleeping boy.

Paint
I tried so many things for this but nothing was right and was about to give up, but I couldn’t, so I went right back to the beginning and started with the word!

Leaf veins
I took so many shots of the leaves in my garden this afternoon, they are fascinating, but I really liked the pattern on the Hydrangea leaf.

Faceless Self Portriat
This was just fun!

Thanks Ashley for great prompts again this week.
There are some wonderful interpretations over here at Ashley’s blog.

Days of Summer, looking for Water.

Crazy Days of Summer this week are looking for water. I drove along the sea front after work this evening and took this picture of our beach looking so calm today.

The sun was shining on the water making it almost blue. Our town is on the Severn Estuary so frequently the sea looks kind of brownish! Today the sunshine, blue sky and fluffy white clouds gave me a real lift at the end of a busy day.

Hop over here to see if we all managed to find water!

Texture Tuesday

Free and Easy Edition

I am linking to Kim Klassen’s Texture Tuesday with some favourite pictures to which I have added a layer of two of her very beautiful textures.

We were visiting Ashton Park near Bristol on Saturday, The deer were in the woods so close to the road and in the lovely field beyond. I need more camouflage practice, they all ran as they caught sight of me!

The bees were in bee heaven with so many different lavender plants at the farm shop on the way home.

I was playing with DoF shots with a row of jelly babies on a mirror and all of a sudden they all fell over!

Playing with textures for Texture Tuesday is so much fun. Take a look over here to see some fabulous texture work.
