Week 16

My Snap this week is spring flowers again but this time I have been looking for blue to make a set for Helelna’s lovely meme

Rosemary

Hyacynth
I always plant my ‘house bulbs’ out when they have finished but they never grow as full the following year. They still have a beautiful perfume though.

Green Alkanet
Apparently the roots of this wild flower can be used to dye cloth red!
The plant is also horribly invasive. I saw this at the local quarry.

Week 15

Signs of spring are everywhere, the blossom here is particularly lovely but harking back to a previous meme of Helena’s I have been looking down this week and my set are all shades of yellow.

Joining Helena and her other snappers again, a day late because I seem to have lost a day somewhere this week.

I took the long way home through a new (to me) village and loved seeing the beauty of the spring blossom. When I got to see the pictures on my computer, all the blossom that had caught my eye was pink!

Snap! Week 13

We have had some strange weather this last week. I have been noticing the light change through my window and as the trees are not in leaf it is lovely to see the sky through the branches. I thought these might make a nice set for Snap! for Helena’s lovely meme for 2016.
