Week 22

My Snap this week for Helelna’s lovely meme is Let them eat cake

I hope you don’t mind a sequence this week (and probably next week).

I was watching and taking pictures of this bullfinch being fed from the wing mirror of the car next door. Paul decided he might like my banana loaf! So unknown to me he put some on our wing mirror. I love the birds as you all know but just can’t stand them near me. I missed the first visit being dramatic, sure that he would come in the car.
This time I was brave.

Week 21

My Snap this week for Helelna’s lovely meme is Going Places or Trains and Boats and ~~Planes~~ Bikes and Umbrellas

I can never resist watching the boats in a harbour, wishing I was on one, dreaming of going somewhere lovely. In truth I can’t stand being on the water! It was just a dream after all!

I noticed this while we were driving through a town and called out ‘Photo op!’ Paul didn’t really raise his eyes skyward as he reversed back up the road.

This is the Bala Lake light railway, we had seen it go by earlier, chuffing away in the cold morning, people waving at you as they do.

Paul said “Wow! Ben would love to see that!”
I said “What?”
He said “The bike! Infront of us!”
“OH! is it special?” I said.
This is the best I could get whilst urging Paul to get closer! I loved the reflection in the bonnet which I didn’t see until I got home. (yes it was special and the photo was appreciated) (no, I was none the wiser)
