Week Seven

Linking with Helena’s wonderful meme. Zoom In Zoom Out

This week I am zooming about at the small beach in town. It is called Maderia Cove or The Family Beach. In the summer you can’t put a pin down here as it is full of families, safe because the the cove is filled by sea water but doesn’t empty with the tide.

It was a lovely walk along here although as the tide had only just gone out the walkway had a lot of water on it. We were walking towards the buildings, the cove is full on our left but the tide is out on our right hand side.

I have been looking for abstracts in nature this week but not brave enough to go out in the fierce wind and rain I looked around my warm and cozy kitchen.
I thought these would be perfect for Helena’s wonderful meme.

Week Five

Zooming In and Out among the weeds in my garden

Zoom In

A tiny but lovely splash of colour as I walked to the shed

And on my way back, clinging to the damp stepping stones I notice fungi!
Actually not so much clinging as welded as I tried to ‘tidy up’ and remove the larger stone towards the middle of the fungi!

I love fungi, the shapes and colours I get here are amazing.
These bracket fungi are here because there was a tree in the middle of this walkway which we had taken down some years ago. But now there is always plenty of fungi for me to photograph.

I saw the reflections in the Zoom Out shot when I took it but didn’t see the reflection of the dog in the Zoom In shot until now…

Here are my pair for week three

We went to the farm shop at the weekend. I loved the look of all these eggs, I normally only see them neatly packaged up in boxes within boxes on the supermarket shelves.

I have a repetitive strain injury on my index finger, right hand…my mousing finger! It’s been troubling me for a few weeks but it’s getting worse so I have to rest it. I’ll be an intermittent blogger for a couple of weeks.
