ZIZO

Week Five

Zooming In and Out among the weeds in my garden

ZIZO week 4 Cyclamen

And on my way back, clinging to the damp stepping stones I notice fungi!
Actually not so much clinging as welded as I tried to ‘tidy up’ and remove the larger stone towards the middle of the fungi!

I love fungi, the shapes and colours I get here are amazing.
These bracket fungi are here because there was a tree in the middle of this walkway which we had taken down some years ago. But now there is always plenty of fungi for me to photograph.

Aren’t there some great ZIZO’s being linked over at Helena’s?

  1. Like Marsha, I’m envious of that splash of green! And the fact that you can actually see the ground, not piles of snow! Seriously – great shots. I really love that first zoomed-out image; it’s a lovely natural still life.

  2. I spotted a very confused zinnia today whilst walking. Was wondering what your stones were made of to get bracket fungi – thanks for the explanation. This has been the most oddly mild winter hasn’t it?
