The Lengths and Heights we go to…

…to demonstrate a point.

Am I the last to join Julies Height of Summer?

I can’t find a full length photo of me that is anywhere near flattering recent. So would a picture of my airing cupboard door do?

Last time Lotta was here there was an early morning discussion about height. (No, I have no idea why). She and Ben think and talk in metric whilst Paul & I are firmly planted in imperial which didn’t help the conversation at all. Ben was telling suggesting to Lotta that she had her height measurement wrong and that if it was right she would be as tall as his mum.
Ooops! note to son: never compare or even allude to comparison between girlfriend and mother…bad move.
So this was what he did…
He got his parents and girlfriend out of bed, searched around for a pencil and tape measure and made us all stand by the airing cupboard door. We were still in our nighties! We each had to be measured, twice. Once in metric and once in imperial.

I would have preferred a conversion because I am five feet six inches when I do that!

Thank you Julie for such a fun challenge.

Shades of Autumn Photo Challenge

I am linking my orange collage to Project Alicia for this weeks orange challenge. I love how orange is so warm at this time of year.

I also have a new recipe to try this weekend which looks kind of orange in the book!

Root vegetable boulangere. I love potatoes done this way so I imagine the winter vegetables with them will be gorgeous.

There are some stunning shades of orange over here this week
