About Miriam Rogers

Hi, I have been married to Paul for what seems like forever & that's the way I want it to stay. We have a son, now 21 and a Greyhound who is bonkers. I play with paper and glue, I love flowers! and anything that I can hang from anywhere with ribbon. If you need me I can be found in the garden with my camera or in my craft room, come in through the gate, I'll make you a coffee or if it's after 6 you can join me in a glass or wine, or e-mail me. Housework is low on my 'to do' list.

Seven Seven Seven

I just happened to notice, on Tuesday this week that I was just a post away from 777 posts. I was going to join in with Sandie at Itchifingers meme of posting Five pictures taken in Five minutes but have decided to post seven pictures taken in about seven seconds (camera on continuous shooting).
We saw this on Saturday and stood for a while. Husband, shaking his head was wondering “why?”
“So that I can take pictures of it of course” says I, shooting like the paparazzi (with a slightly smaller lens!)

Pairs Week Ten

Little & Large

Ben & Lotta went to the Chinese supermarket for me and in the bag of goodies was this little Lion. Ben was compelled to make it dance!

Pairs-1

Later that evening we were in a Chinese restaurant, they were still celebrating new year and we had a visit from the Lion, dancing to banish the bad spirits and bring good luck.
I forgot to change the settings on my camera after my son, with his perfect eye sight, had been using it, so all my pictures have had some pixel magic on to bring back great memories if not great pictures.

Pairs 2

I am loving seeing all the wonderful Pairs over atHelena’s each week.

Waving from Weston

It was a dry and sunny weekend.
A whole day out weekend
Having discovered doggy day care.

A day out with friends
Joined by son & his girl, well there had been mention of a (free) lunch
A walk along the river
A visit to the ss Great Britain
Coffee in the sunshine
People watching
Picture taking
Laughing
And we may have had a little glass of something chilled too.

Followed by a perfect Sunday catching up with blog reading, resting weary legs, recovering from the miles walked kind of weekend.

We couldn’t resist playing with the dressing up things on the ship.

Waving on a Monday is one of Sian’s brilliant ideas. It’s nice to join in this week.
