Little & Large
Ben & Lotta went to the Chinese supermarket for me and in the bag of goodies was this little Lion. Ben was compelled to make it dance!
Later that evening we were in a Chinese restaurant, they were still celebrating new year and we had a visit from the Lion, dancing to banish the bad spirits and bring good luck.
I forgot to change the settings on my camera after my son, with his perfect eye sight, had been using it, so all my pictures have had some pixel magic on to bring back great memories if not great pictures.
I am loving seeing all the wonderful Pairs over atHelena’s each week.
what a fun surprise with your shopping and lovely to see the dancers – Edinburgh seems strangely lacking in Chinese New Year celebration
There is something so magical about seeing a Chinese Dragon. I love that little one..was he a gift in the bag or did they buy him?
Chinese New Year is so visual. I remember when I worked at Preschool it was always a good topic for the children to follow.
wow- this is a very original pairs! I really like the first blurry photo with the bokeh in the background.
Both dragons look like a lot of fun!
We didn’t celebrate Chinese New Year this year – thank you for sharing your dragons 🙂
That first photo has lots of sharpness – I like the blurry background on it, Miriam. Celebrating the Chinese New Year sounds a lot of fun …
Great idea for a pair. I love the bokeh effect on the first one.
Wow! What a fun Pair!
