I was walking Pepsi around the perimeter of a field stopping every few seconds for her and then for me. Her to wee, me to photograph something. We were getting on great together. I was pleased to have an hour, dog and camera, sunshine and flora. No-one saying “Oh! those are just weeds, what’s to photograph?”

I was in a field wanting to photograph a bale of hay and looking for ‘a rural landscape’ for Rinda’s Scavenger Hunt.
I was thinking how marvellous that from all this grass comes winter feed for the farm animals.
