…Completed
It hardly seems possible that the Scavenger Hunt finishes today.Thank you Rinda for another fun time taking a look around my locality.
The easiest item for me to find was number six, someone/thing napping…my greyhound, that’s what she does best.
The most difficult was number 13, a fence…nothing ‘quite right’ for me.
The most fun was number 15, a police vehicle…me trying to look invisible.
And the most surprising was number 18, the windmill… who would have thought that this windmill has been here since 1317 just 11 miles from my home and I would never have seen it but for the Scavenger Hunt.
I put my finds into a slide show on Flickr, I hope you like them Here is the link
I am so looking forward to seeing everyones finds here over the weekend
Good Luck in the draw everyone.
Lovely slide show. I like how you have done the commentary underneath.
Couldn’t pick a favorite…lots of great finds.
Some great finds 🙂 Well done, loved the slideshow 🙂
Your photos are stunning! Well done for getting them all. Kind regards, John W #17.
What a slide show miriam. How did you do it? I was especially drawn to your dinosaur sand sculpture, and the colours in the mosaic shot. What a great hunt you have had. Thank you for visiting my blog. Andy 🙂
great idea to do a slide show and so many wonderful scavenger photos
I really enjoyed your slide show. My favorite finds were the abounded cane and hat. How unusual! All of your photos were beautiful!
Sorry, I didn’t notice that autocorrect kicked in on the word “abandoned.”
Super angel fish cloud and the candle is gorgeous, well done on all you photos. BJ
Your slide show was fantastic~so many wonderful photos! Reading your commentary was so interesting ~ loved that you parked in a roundabout & stood on a ladder to get your shot of the plane!
Wow, what a fabulous collection! I love that “welcome” sign–truly amusing, and I’m still impressed with your efforts to get a photograph of the Concorde.
I enjoyed your slide show – and I also enjoyed your notes underneath. I’m glad you put them in!
I like that you bought the mosaic candle for the hunt – and those dinosaur sculptures are amazing. Gorgeous flowers on this post too.
Your slide show was very enjoyable!
My husband and I took lots of our photos on a trip we were lucky enough to take in the UK this past June.
Rinda certainly makes it fun.
Thank you for your visit to my Magpie’s Nest

Miriam, the slide show is wonderful!
I love the windmill, and I can see the angel fish!
Have a great week ahead!
Congratulations on finishing the hunt! I really enjoyed the slide show. It was fun re-visiting some of the images I had seen before, and seeing the new ones.
Wonderful photos! I could see the angel fish immediately and no, didn’t the help of a mojito. If I lived closer I would come and “borrow” your mosaic, beautiful!
I have just watched your slide show, a super set of photos, the Ashton Windmill is lovely isn’t it? We were so lucky on the day we went as it was open, my son climbed to the top but I only made it to the first floor! Pepsi is beautiful – greyhounds do sleep a lot don’t they? I have had Tara for just a year, so different from any other dog I have had.
