Looking Up and Down

…because it’s a great way to see things differently.

We came home over the Clifton Suspension Bridge and this time I walked across! It was a bit drizzly so the light wasn’t brilliant but I made some great Up & Down pictures considering I don’t like heights! Oh and the bridge moves!!

I loved these tall (Corsican, I think) pines that are on the Leigh Woods side of the bridge and wondered, if I was looking up at the pines

Could I look down and find some cones?
Looking Down

I played with the dodge & burn tool rather than put a texture on the sky as it was so washed out, I rather like the result.
I also have a couple of contenders for Rindas Scavenger Hunt.

Thank you Helena who’s brilliant idea it is to Look Up and Down every week throughout 2013

  1. Hi Miriam
Your pine tree is very atmospheric and a great composition, yes I think you have defiantly got contenders for the Rhinda’s Scavenger Hunt.
Bristol is one place that I would love to visit one day.
    What a great post.
