…at the garden centre
I was so busy looking up at the flowers on the huge fern that I almost tripped over this equally huge, but harmless, snail. I wonder if I bought him would he scare off all the slugs and snails that eat my plants, rather like a plastic heron is supposed to scare of the real thing?

I’m afraid I wouldn’t have much hope for a plastic snail warding off any kind of garden pest. The snails can really do a job on our plants if we don’t keep an eye out for them. That’s an amazing yellow flower!
That bloom is gorgeous! I’m not a big lover of snails—and this one looks huge. If they didn’t do so much damage in the garden, I could enjoy them for the unusual creatures that they are.
Gosh that snail gave me a shock! far too realistic!
Great shots! The flowers are beautiful. Glad you didn’t trip over the snail!
great captures – the snails in my garden have been climbing recently – I keep finding big groups up in bushes
I cam’t work out if the snail is real (your photographing skills for capturing sharpness and detail are second to none), or whether it isn’t! Splendid pairing in any case :).
Do let me know if you try it, Miriam! 🙂
The slugs are feasting here this year.
More so than usual. 🙁
LOvely colors and great, sharp focus on the up/down, especially the snail.
