I am following along with Tammy’s Index Card A Day for 61 days through June and July. I have a need to make things with my hands. I loved the Rags to Stitches Class I did with Carla Sonheim and I also made the journal with her. I still have the pages to make for that.
I made a lot of ATC’S last year and decided to do this challenge on an ATC card. I really love the small size (3.5 x 2.5 inches) but I find them addictive so I think making one every day for two months might be just perfect to cure me of that!
So, paint, draw, doodle, stitch, collage, whatever you want to do, with whatever you want to use, just do it every day on a small card seems to be the rule…
Here are my days 1 – 9
Thanks to Jill at Prairie Dreams for reminding me to post my cards.
This seems like a very ambitious project, but you’re off to a wonderful start. My favorite: I ‘heart’ jute!
love the idea of doing something daily to get it out of your system. Your 1st set is fabulous – so many different looks. I think the winter tree is my favourite
Those cards are so creative. I love all the different techniques used.
These are wonderful, Miriam!! I like the way you have a theme for a couple of days, then move to another. I think my favourite is Tree in Winter (perhaps reflecting the excessively long winters we have here in Manitoba?!). Can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
PS Thank you for the link!
What a wonderful idea this is, Miriam, and your work is really beautiful!
What a wonderful idea, my favourite is flowers at fence.
My goodness, you have such a wide range of interests and skills to match! Mine would have o be that sailing boat :).
awesome cards…love the ‘button tree!’
Oh these are all wonderful! I’m totally charmed by Tree in Winter.
I like the concept of working in a series. Your ICs are gorgeous. I also heart burlap!
These are simply exquisite… and I love how polished and finished they all look… mine are a bit ratty edged in places already… those top three are amazing… looking forward to seeing what else you create…xx
