I walk my Greyhound, Pepsi along a Rhyne which runs close to us. It is not the most beautiful place in the world but if I slow down and let Pepsi mooch along in her own time some lovely things catch my eye, simple, beautiful snippets of nature like this.

Teasels always remind me of my late cousin. I have such a lovely memory of her making them into hedgehogs when I was a little girl.

Pepsi is gorgeous! It is interesting what you do see walking along rhyne especially when you slow down. My previous dog jumped into a weed covered rhyne quite a scary moment with the steep sides, we took home a very smelly dog!
