The perfume of these hyacynths is heady in the sunshine we have at the moment.

These are all so lovely. I went out in the yard yesterday and didn’t find much yet. A violet, some daffodils. It was very warm, and our pear tree buds began to open up in the afternoon. Today is rainy, and the weekend is supposed to be very cool again. I’m ready for sustained spring weather! And flowers.
Such bright and optimistic photos :). We haven’t even got our daffs open the the gardens up here yet, so the rest will be a while – I can almost smell those hyacinths from here …
Oh, my! These are gorgeous!! (We’re still a few weeks away from spring flowers here, but at least the temperatures are back above freezing and the snow is nearly all melted.)
Always lovely to see Spring flowers blooming…one of my favorite times of the year and you have captured it beautifully. PS Glad you enjoyed the postcard.
Thanks for letting me know that my boat postcard arrived! 🙂 I love your signs of spring…gorgeous shots. It will be a couple weeks yet before I see flowers here in Alberta, Canada…spring is taking it’s time this year – finally the snow has melted though so that’s good! 🙂

The daisy and the dandelion have an honest simplicity which makes them my favourites!

Such a beautiful series of beautiful flowers!
Amazing to see the beauty of the flowers and weeds, which comes with spring.

Beautiful flowers. Spring is very late here. I’ve only seen a few crocuses.

I love the first one Miriam – the colour, the texture and the composition.
