Sometimes I just see things and photograph them because they make me feel happy or my family will call me ‘for a photo opportunity’.
My husband, on more than one occasion has put me in the car and taken me to a ‘photo opportunity’
I never do much with these pictures, sometimes I might put them through one of my photo editing programs but they mostly hang around in my photo library. I seem to think I need a reason to post them here.
I want to continue to notice and photograph the simple, ordinary things that bring me pleasure but this year I’ll let them see the light of day, well an electronic light I suppose. I mean I’ll post them here!
I have been inspired by Rinda’s photographers eye series
Have you noticed anything simple that has given you pleasure or just made you smile?
How lovely in itself and that you noticed it … and honoured it with such a pretty page. I am looking forward to more, being a fan of simple things :).
I love alighting upon small things such as your foliage. So glad you photographed it. The background colour matches it perfectly.
What a clever idea! My one little word this year is AWARE. Although I am really cognizant of it, I don’t always snap a shot. Great idea on your part.
Yesterday I went into the garden to look for a lost earring and found a skeletal leaf I loved instead…and then I got a message that the earring had turned up in the car, so that was even better!
Miriam, I have been having a lot of trouble commenting on your blog recently – needless to say, I have seen your posts and enjoyed them. This photo today reminds me of a brain for some reason!
Thanks for the shout-out. I”ll be looking forward to what you do with this series.
