The snow came yesterday, late afternoon as predicted and it caused chaos on the roads for the whole evening. Bens place of work closed early and the motorway was clear for his journey home. I had him home with me.
Paul on the other hand had to be a few hundred miles away early this morning. Fortunately the trains were running last night, very slowly as it turned out! I took him to the station, very slowly, it was scary. The road was deep in slush and the snow was heavy in the headlamps of the car. Thank goodness he didn’t take the car. He arrived at his hotel at midnight after a 4 hour journey, crawling and stopping all the way. Sometimes sense prevails.
Most of the snow has gone now, it has been raining but as I look out of my window I see large, soft, white snowflakes falling… it feels like Déjà vu.
I have been trying to capture the weather here in my very untidy, very wet, soggy excuse for a garden. I was looking for my 365 prompt which was Frozen.
I hope you are warm and cozy wherever you are or enjoying your summer?

Love your shot. The lighting is beautiful.
Gorgeous photo, Miriam 🙂 We’ve been pretty cold here, and my foot has been aching, possibly partly due to the temp 🙁 A bit of snow but not too much disruption, thankfully!
