Happy Eighth Birthday to you…
and a festive one
She is a fabulous dog, very quiet, very gentle. She is often cold, mostly asleep, sometimes escapes, she is my shadow, she has more coats than me and more blankets than a blanket shop.
She has a new collar and a festive scarf this Christmas, gifts from Lotta! I haven’t been able to get any decent pictures of her wearing her new clothes yet, plenty of very close wet noses! much too scary to post. May be next week.

I’m afraid it’s Christmas all year round for our dogs!!!
They have an ample supply of new bones and chewies all the time, it seems. Pepsi is gorgeous. I take it she’s a grey hound or grey hound mix? The more research I do, the more I think our Aria is a smooth collie/ grey hound mix. She’s got the brindle coloring and gait of a grey hound, but the head and temperament (plus herding instincts) of a collie.

What a beautiful dog! We gave up dog ownership when our last dog passed away. We are away too often, and although I miss a dog on a daily basis, I’m grateful when we travel that we don’t have to think about what to do with a pet. Have a Merry Christmas!
