You would think I would learn, Cash cards, Computers, Driving, Blogging, Photoshop, Photography, things I said I would never do and now I can’t imagine life without them.
And then I said I would never use Twitter and do tweeting (whatever it was)
Until now.
Ben had an idea.
So that I could follow himself & Mike on their travels, reduce the amount of worrying I will do and reduce the need for him to constantly phone me, (poor thing! I can’t help it, I worry) he set me up a Twitter account. So now he just ‘tweets’ and I just know that he is OK.
Brilliant. Perfect.
Because the bikes have to be re-fuelled every 80 miles or so he is tweeting when they stop at the petrol station. I can’t tell you how much stress it has taken away.
And I just love, love, love it! Oooh! Ive been tweeted! is a new refrain from me.
There is also a great little thing on their blog that updates their position at the same time. Now for someone who adores maps and worries about him on ‘that bike’ it is just wonderful.
Oh how could I resist this picture for this post?
I still don’t think I’ll really get ‘into’ tweeting though but I am enjoying this new adventure.
Am I the last person on the planet who’s not tweeting?
I’m with you on the never say never – that’s how I finally got into all sorts of computer based activities 🙂
I completely understand! I am not on twitter but would definitely sign up to follow one of my young ones on the road. I have been avoiding pinterest as well!

No tweeting here either! A great way to keep up with your son

As a non-tweeter, I can tell you you’re not! He’s certainly being very thoughtful …
