Journal Your Christmas 7th & 8th

I have my pages 7 & 8 to share with you today. I am amazed that I am actually keeping up with this as work is taking all my energy at the moment. I read Shimelles prompt in the morning and if it ‘speaks to me’ I try to think about it as I am driving waiting in traffic. I am so pleased that I made a page template, I find it relaxing at the end of the day just to switch off and type up my thoughts. What do you do? Are you terribly organised? I don’t know how you manage with children still at school. I would love to have done this when my boy was little but I am sure I would never have found the time!

Only joking Ben, of course you can have it all!
note to self: remember to win the lottery this weekend.

I might add in some more pictures as the days go by.

It has stopped raining here, the fierce wind has dropped and the sun is shining. I’ll send you some calm today.

  1. Fabulous. I am sure having premade template/pages makes it easier. Specially if you are super busy. They are looking lovely and good on you for keeping up. WTGG!

  2. Love the pages. They are both fantastic. I try to find as much time to craft as I can. I have a little notebook that I take around where I can write down ideas. Or I use my phone to email them to myself.

  3. Oooh, yes, I am loving the progression of your album Miriam. This year I have found that I have let go of trying to document every day. Like you, if the prompt prompts an idea, then all and good, if not, or if there is something else on, I go with the flow.
I want to do an around the house prompt, be we wont decorate until the children finish school and that’s the 20th …. in the meantime I have two extra curricular functions booked for every day next week including two birthdays …. argghhhhh!

  4. Well, I hoped to have a page design ready, but it didn’t happen so it’s page by page for me. I’m about a week behind, but I don’t try to keep up any more. I know I’ll get the important things documented eventually. I love the collage on the bottom of Dec. 8, and I so agree that it would have been lovely to have done this when my kids were small. But, like you, I’m afraid I couldn’t have kept up with it.
