This week Project 64 is looking for pacific blue. I was having some real problems finding this colour until I looked much closer to me. On my desk was my beautiful Marimekko tray from Helsinki, a sewing box with thread, my new photograhy magazine, a little picture I have had for many years, And of course the gin! No, that was a lucky find in the cupboard! I might have one tonight to celebrate getting this project done although I may be too late to post.
Marimekko from Finland
Bombay Blue Gin. I am also going to Link this to Scavenger Hunt Sunday.. It is my favourite gin, perfect with a tonic, ice & a slice! Cheers
I noticed this little fella when I took the gin from the cupboard…
Now why didn’t I think of looking in my threads box first?
We went to this little harbour many years ago, it was just as we came through the Canadian border from New England.
Practical Photography Magazine for May 201. This month there is a great article called ‘funky focusing’ Play with focus until you create an impressionist image. Mmmm, I tried it but not sure if I have the courage to post, I’ll think about it.
Interesting challenge! You did a good job finding close matches.
Your splashy blue flowers on your tray are gorgeous – they’d make a lovely dress! And a Bombay blue ginsounds like just the thing on a sunny saturday evening..
Lots of lovely blues… Now, a G and T aboard one of those lovely boats in Snug Harbour would be ideal!
