To you from me with love x
This is Viburnum x burkwoodii, I think it it Anne Russell, and this year she is fabulous, with more blooms than I have ever seen before. I wish you could breathe her sweet fragrance.

How sweet and what a beautiful photo; Happy Mother’s Day to you too!
Oh Miriam….this brought back so many memories for me….we used to have thrupence [do you remember those coins?] to spend on sweets each Saturday. My absolute favourites were cough candy….followed by black jacks…..and sherbert fountains came a close third…..and didn’t we feel grown up ‘puffing’ away on those sweet cigarettes!!!
Did you know those old fashioned sweets are making a comeback……we now have a shop that is full of the old fashioned jars of sweets……a real trip down memory lane.
And I still love pear drops!!
