This is my collection for November.
I was at Tyntesfield to look at the dahlias, they are so beautiful even though the gardener told me they were going over. He also said that the estate has plans to double the size of the planting for next year. Maybe Sandie would allow me more than five next November?

There are two beds of Dahlias through this archway into the kitchen garden and two beds similar in size ‘this’ side of the archway

My goodness, these are stunning! They look in perfect condition even if they are ‘going over’ and what a spectacle of colour and different petal shapes. You have taken some great shots Miriam and I’m glad you added the archway so that we can see the height of these.
It is lovely when a garden has plans to expand and no doubt you will look forward to a future visit. Yes, there will be lots of photo opportunities so I hope you will include 5 plus 5 next time! Thank you for taking part Miriam, nature is certainly magnificent in autumn isn’t it.
They are lovely pictures especially the Pom Pom one and I do like your one through the gate with the tree so carefully lined up even if you are cheating! It looks like they have already increased the number of dahlias. At one stage they were just in the beds by the orangery. Have you ever been to the dahlia garden in Dunster? Beautiful!
From bud to bloom and even after, there is something so magical abut these flowers, and you have captured that so beautifully here, Miriam.

These are just stunning – your up-close photography always takes me breath away … My Mum always grew dahlias and I’ve been thinking I must give them a go. You’ve quite persuaded me!
