We had a huge storm here a while ago and it almost stripped this Camelia. I was fortunate enough to have taken a picture of it the week before.
So, this weeks Pair is Before and After the Rain.
Thank you to Helena for this lovely weekly meme.

We have the remnants of a white camellia lying on the ground here too. They don’t last long, do they?
Oh gosh, what a change. I didn’t know about the storms down there … Glad you were quick off the mark when those lovely blooms came out.
Wind and rain have stripped most of the flowering trees of their beautiful blooms here as well. I’m glad I got a few shots of our Korean Pear tree which was the loveliest it’s ever been.
my neighbour has a camellia and I love the blooms but they are so delicate and fleeting
ah…poor blossoms after the rain…
love the bokeh/blur in the first photo
Oh Miriam! Come look at MY post today. Like we read each other’s mind a bit with the blossoms and the sidewalk, huh?
🙂 m & jb (who is the blob in my photo, LOL!)
Miriam, these are just beautiful.
I hope that you are having a wonderful week, my friend. xo.
Such a beautiful flower – even when it’s on the ground.
Beautiful picture of the camellia still on the bush. Mine are hanging on but I am not sure about today’s wind and rain.
What comes to mind “don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened”!! Both images are beautiful, it is a lovely shade of pink!!
We had snowdrifts of blossom here after the winds too. Glad you got the shot before!
