Capture Your 365

I have been taking a picture every day since the 1st January 2011, and for last couple of years I have been following Katrina Kennedy’s prompts.
Taking pictures every day for a photographic challenge has become part of me, a habit even but I hardly ever post these pictures to my blog.
During November each year the CY365 challenge has a ‘Thankful Theme’.
I thought I would try to post my pictures here. Maybe not everyday, but I’ll try.
Also a few people were interested in my October challenge which I saw on Fat Mum Slims blog. Following along with the alphabet the challenge was to take a picture with the title A is for…, B is for…, until Z is for… then the challenge went into numbers until the end of the month. In October the numbers went up to five.
I’ll post that picture as well.
So through November I’m changing things up a bit.
Do you ever do that?
Do you ever get snowed under?
Over committed?
Forget why you’re blogging?
I think that’s where I am right now
Perhaps this will get me back on track, whichever track that is …

  1. Why Miriam! And here I thought you were blogging just for me and my reading/viewing pleasure! I am a Slow Blogger. (I even have the snail Slow Blogger button on my blog.) Maybe 1-2 post a week. I do it just to keep in touch with the friends who I have met in Blog Land. They seem to be interested in my humble goings on as I am interested in theirs. Yours, too! So, don’t be bogged, be slow! Or whatever you would like to be. xo, m

  2. Congratulations on keeping up with these challenges! And what beautiful photographs. I know what you mean about needing to step back and think about why you blog and what to blog and what challenges you enjoy. I’m doing a bit of that myself!

  3. beautiful sky and wonderful raindrop capture – I do cy365 too but never share them – I like the daily habit of keeping an eye open

  4. I completed just one year of CY365, and enjoyed it. Didn’t always follow the prompts but posted in the CY36 gallery regularly, and learned a lot doing it. Several times this year, I thought I’d start a monthly photo-a-day project, but life just seemed to get in the way, and other creative pursuits are taking a LOT of my time. I admire your perseverance. And, of course, your lovely photographs!
