I was sorting out my photo storage (Aperture) and realised that I have over 500 photos that I have edited in the various apps I have. Apart from my blog header I don’t think I’ve shared any with you…
I have also been wanting to join in with Prairie Jill’s Mobile Monday for ages so today I think is as good a time as any…
My favourite app is Waterlogue and I keep returning to it.

This was a less than interesting landscape taken from the car (passenger side) on the motorway recently
I have an app called Circular which I am loving at the moment. It makes ‘miniature worlds’ and is most effective (I think) if you have a horizon with something like a tree or lamp post in the sky.

Although M & Ms with their reflection in a mirror is fun…

I like Glaze
I have just downloaded Shake. I don’t think it will become a favourite, partly because it makes such a ridiculous sound when it does anything! You can only upload up to 4 pictures with the free version.
and last night I downloaded Fingerpaint ll I have only played with it on the small screen of my phone and I found it quite tricky. I expect the larger screen of a tablet would be easier.
Have you any apps to recommend?
Oooh! So many beautiful images here. Some of my favourites: the landscape, the pink gerbera, and the London skyline. The starling is fabulous! I haven’t played with Fingerpaint or Shake yet, but just downloaded them.
Retrica Pro and Diana are two of my favourite apps at the moment.
How wonderful these are, Miriam, and I hope you will be posting more of them here!
I especially love the peony. Simply perfect.
I’m not using any interesting apps—just the usual editing ones. I’ve always loved everything you’ve done with Waterlogue, and your photos with Circular are amazing. I especiallly love the one of St. Paul’s. I’d love to try that one with some of my Istanbul photos from last year.
Can’t recommend any apps – I’m still in the learning phase and trying to decide what to add to my iPhone first! Waterlogue looks like fun!
Hi Miriam,
I thoroughly enjoy Waterlogue and am lookingbfwd to trying a couple of these that you’ve shared. Apps rock – well many do and they are fun! Thanks for all these ideas.
Cheers~
I think I will have to wait until I retire to do much with phone apps–so many options, so little time! That’s 2 1/2 years away–it’s hard to imagine what might be available then. Meantime, your pink gerbera is wonderful.
