Pairs Week Five

Linking to Helen’a meme for 2015 Pairs

My Pair for this week is Large & Small or Woman-made and Natural

We visited the Abbey and Village of Lacock in Wiltshire at the weekend to look at the Frozen World exhibition. It was wonderful, freezing cold and with a biting wind but we had such a lovely day.

This is Jenny Pickfords wonderful snowdrop

And this is a little clump of Mother Natures snowdrops with a little pixel magic by me.

Pairs Week Four

Open & Closed

Pairs-2

My pair this week features a pine cone brought in tightly closed and put ontop of my fridge. (I have no idea why, except that I like pine cones) I photographed it because that’s what I do. I am pleased I did of course because a few days later in the warmth of my kitchen it had opened beautifully.

Pairs is Helenas meme for 2015

Pairs Week Three

At either end of the ribbon

Pairs-week-3

I posted my embroidery scissors last week and realised that at the other end of the purple ribbon there is a beautifully embroidered ‘something to stop the little pair of scissors from falling down between the cushions as you sit (?) by the fire (?) and embroider’ said my friend who made the little ‘scissors saver?’
At either end of the ribbon is a bit like Helena’s rainbow’s last week. Oh! I do love how one thing sparks off another thing.

Last week I forgot to give my Pair a title, Marsha was thinking Open & Closed. That’s for next week. 🙂

Pairs Week One

7th January 2015

I am joining in with Helena’s new meme for 2015.
It is called Pairs.
My pairs were a real treat for me

I heard these two pairs before I saw them
