It has been raining here for days and I haven’t been out beyond the gate!
For Helena’s ZIZO this week I am posting pictures of a very beautiful pond I saw while on holiday when it was warm and sunny with clear blue skies.
So zooming in and out on my holiday.
I was looking at the reflections in the water.
and as I walked around the pond I saw these little chaps!
I took the picture for Deb Turtle and then couldn’t resist zooming in a little closer with Helena in mind.

Adrienne’s word for this week is Rain
…man is snoring. He went to bed and bumped his head and couldn’t get up in the morning.
Oooh! that old school yard skipping song reminds me of a joke that amused me greatly recently.

FISHING
The rain was pouring down and there was a big puddle in front of the pub.
A ragged old man was standing there with a rod and hanging a string into the puddle.
A tipsy-looking, curious gentleman came over to him and asked what he was doing.
‘Fishing,’ the old man said simply.
‘Poor old fool,’ the gentleman thought and he invited the ragged old man for a drink in the pub.
As he felt he should start some conversation while they were sipping their whisky, the gentleman asked, ‘And how many have you caught?’
‘You’re the eighth,’ the old man answered.
