I made this

This was so quick and delicious I thought I would share it with you. It is from a very old Good Food magazine.

Beef Stir Fry

Takes 30 minutes and serves 2

You will need

350g beef (stir fry or rump or sirloin) cut into thin strips
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
small bunch spring onions sliced on the diagonal
200g roasted antipasto peppers in oil drained and sliced

boiled rice, to serve
you could stir through a bag of mixed salad leaves just before serving
I roasted red & yellow pepper instead of the antipasto because I had them in.

Marinate the beef
Put the beef strips in a non-metallic bowl and cover with the vinegar, soy and Worcestershire sauce. Leave for 20 minutes, or if you have time, overnight.

Stir fry
Heat a dry wok until it is very hot. Tip in the beef, marinade and spring onions, stir fry for 2 – 3 minutes. Add the peppers then stir fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Serve with boiled rice.

It was quick
It looked pretty and
It tasted gorgeous

As usual I forgot to take a picture of the finished dish! I photographed the picture in the magazine

Project 365

Week 12

19th-22nd March. I was so pleased to be back home. Oh gosh, what a day it was yesterday! It was just too sad to write about.
When we got back from our family day, a lovely bunch of tulips was waiting on the back door step for us.
Thank you K, you are lovely x
I saw these gorgeous daffodils when I went to collect Pepsi from the kennels. The picture of the gulls soaring on a thermal is for Skywatch this week.
I saw a tutorial on the internet for these japanese dolls but couldn’t find my handmade paper so I tried with what I had to hand. I hope I can find it again! (tutorial and paper). The dolls are quick and easy to do and look lovely standing in my pencil pot
The packet of Polos brought back a lovely childhood memory. I wrote it down for Sian’s Story telling Sunday on 4th April.
We have had some beautiful weather this week the cherry blossom looks fabulous in a clear bright blue sky.
Project 64’s colour is Tickle me Pink, the hyacinth is in the garden.

Thank you to Alexa for the LO

Texture Tuesday

I love playing with Photoshop and have discovered Textures. I took part in Kim Klassens Skinny Mini Photoshop e-course and loved it.
This is one of the first pictures I added one of Kim’s beautiful textures to. She is hosting Texture Tuesday over here.

Pink Gerbra with Sweet Treat texture

Gerbra’s are so cheery aren’t they? especially on a rainy day in Weston.
