I have some pages to share with you today.
The pages in my journal are made from the Christmas cards we received last year, and a digital journal page I will write up each evening.
I think that Christmas cards are so beautiful I just can’t bear to throw them away. Anyway, the left hand page in my book is the card which I have trimmed to 5×7 and the right hand page is a digital page which I will have printed.
I used Katie Pertiet papers and elements to make my digital pages. I have some date tags which will be attached to the pages with ribbon and no idea just yet of how I’ll put it together. I suppose it will depend on the size of it.

Miriam, your pages are so lovely, they have such a welcoming feel to them and I can see how your PS skills are used to develop a lovely layered feel … something of which I am yet to achieve, I feel as though I have stagnated a bit and tend to stick to my limited knowledge base . It is fantastic to see your lovely work.
Love the idea of using old Christmas cards Miriam. I punched mine into 2″ squares to make a LO, but now I am rather regretting this! Great start to your journal (love the story about your Dad and Grandad having a pint!). x
PS: Did you see that Kim Klassen was doing a class on textures at BPC (not that you need to learn come to think about it!). I just thought of you when I saw the class come up! x

I always try to think of some good way to use the beautiful cards we receive. This is one of the best uses I’ve seen. Your pages are lovely.
