Week 19

Zooming in and out in my garden

Not very exciting is it?
Now I would never make a wild life photographer, I just can’t sit still for long enough and then when something happens I miss it!

Here are the pair of Blackbirds that have their nest in the ivy.

Fortunately they don’t need that arrow, they seem to know exactly which leaf is their entrance. I pin pointed it by the yellow leaf at 10 o’clock from the top left hand corner of the lamp. No matter how much I zoomed in I can’t see them, they were in there when I took the photo’s

Week 17

Zooming in and out trying to conquer my fear of moths. I rescued this from a vase of water. I was terrified that it would move but then realised that it must be waterlogged, so wouldn’t.

  1. I know what you mean. We have the occasional hummingbird visit the hibiscus plant on our deck in the Summer. I’m never able to capture them though!

  2. wonderful collection of nature details and colour – I’d be fine with the moth but wary of the chicken
