Although our snow has gone it is still so cold here. I noticed some ice on the logs

and a huge messy magpie nest in the trees.

I did some digi magic on this because the nest wasn’t as clear on screen (long lens/no tripod!) as it was irl.
hope that still counts?

I have been looking up and down a lot this past week and all I’ve seen is snow in its many guises from beautiful white to murkey brown but today the sun shone!
I didn’t even notice yesterdays weather, the sheep were lambing at our local farm, but for Helena’s meme where she asks us to Look Up and Look Down these are my pictures for week 3

I have been having problems loading pictures into my blog post for the last few days so I am trying again today with pictures of the snow that fell on us this week. I think I’ll just scrape into week 3?
