I have noticed so many beautiful abstract patterns in nature this week thanks to this challenge and with a few tweaks with levels, curves and Topaz here are some results.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know the name of this plant but loved the patterns and the fabulous purple.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/image.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/image.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"leaf\" width=\"500\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6694\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have a new lens, a much longed for 60mm Macro. I am finding it a challenge but am more than happy to keep practising when I see a dragon fly up close and <del datetime=\"2012-09-28T19:39:45+00:00\">looking at me<\/del> personal. How beautiful her wings are. I liked the wings in black &#038; white, they seemed to sparkle.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/dragonfly-wing.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/dragonfly-wing.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"dragonfly wing\" width=\"500\"class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6693\" srcset=\"https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/dragonfly-wing.jpg 790w, https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/dragonfly-wing-300x217.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 790px) 100vw, 790px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the beautiful wings of the hover fly. I found it a bit scary when I saw the fly so huge in my lens! It reminded me of our biology lessons at school, Oh so long ago. The boys in our biology class liked nothing better than swapping what the girls were supposed to be looking at for a spider!<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/hoverfly-wing.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/hoverfly-wing.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"hoverfly wing\" width=\"500\"class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6696\" srcset=\"https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/hoverfly-wing.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/hoverfly-wing-300x234.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I am endlessly fascinated by the beautiful webs made by spiders in the garden. They are even more beautiful after the rain or perhaps the sprinkler? I played a little in Topaz, just for fun.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Web.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Web.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Web\" width=\"500\"class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6698\" srcset=\"https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Web.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Web-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also had a play with another way of looking at abstract. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/sunflower-bird-fly.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/sunflower-bird-fly.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"sunflower bird fly\" width=\"500\"class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6695\" srcset=\"https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/sunflower-bird-fly.jpg 504w, https:\/\/miriamrogers.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/sunflower-bird-fly-300x214.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have loved this challenge and I am sure there will be fabulous interpreteations of Abstraction at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pixeldustphotoart.com\/2012\/09\/photo-art-friday-september-28-29.html\">Photo Art Friday<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n<p>Hope you have nice weekends.
